This is a 2 hour Zumbathon and is in support of the Food Pantry's mission of feeding Seabeck residents who are in need this Thanksgiving & Holiday season.

Cindy Pealstrom, the founder of the Mobile Pantry. The original Seabeck Pantry was started nearly 15 years ago by a group of Seabeck and Crosby folks that wanted to help the community and provide a much needed service. They started the pantry at the Crosby Community Center where it was housed for 10 years. In early 2018, the founder of the pantry, Mary Colvin, was relocating and at that time I stepped in to continue offering the community the services. In November 2018 the Seabeck Pantry became the Seabeck Mobile Food Pantry and left the Crosby Community Center. The pantry has always been completely supported by the community through food and cash donations. For many years the post office annual food drive was where the majority of the donations came from, now it is mainly through the generosity of our neighbors through weekly donations. Until recently the pantry was run solely by myself and Shannon Leeman. I am now traveling full time and Shannon runs the pantry with volunteers to help out when needed and I remain in the background. The pantry has always provided Thanksgiving and Christmas dinner baskets for those in the community that need help during the holidays. We assemble and hand out an average of 50 baskets each holiday. Throughout the year we help on average 15-20 families each week. The why is easy! It's because Seabeck is a very loving, kind and generous community that genuinely cares for each other! Thank you so much for your help in gathering donations for our upcoming holiday baskets, it's folks like you that make doing what we do possible!
